Flop Happy Fundraising
Raising funds for your School, team, club, or organization has never been more fun or easy. We offer affordable quality custom flip flops in numerous colors and sizes with no minimum order quantities. The market is saturated with typical boring fundraiser products such a candy, magazines, or cookie dough. With custom flip flops you have an exciting new way to promote your group while raising funds. Nearly everyone already buys and wears flip flops, and your customers will want to help show your team pride or support your cause. As a result you have a product that sells itself. You can sell flip flops that have your group's colors, name or slogan cut into the sole and printed onto the strap, or you can let your customers each design their own unique pair. Since our custom soled flip flops have no minimum order requirements you are not limited to trying to sell the same design to everyone and as a result can appeal to a much greater market. Perhaps each club or sports team in your school wants their own unique design. You can sell 500 pairs of the same design or 500 different and unique pairs!

Who is our fundraiser for? Everyone! Almost everyone wears flip flops as well as visits beaches in the warmer months. Below are examples of some of the many types of organizations that can profit greatly from a Flop Happy fundraiser:
How We Make It Easy. Typical fundraisers involve lots of management in order to keep track of order forms, who sold what, checks, and cash that are coming in. And, once the products do finally arrive you have to sort them out and make sure they get delivered to the right customer. This can be a hassle, and take a lot of time and man power. With Flop Happy fundraising your customers can place their orders on our website and we then ship the flip flops directly to them. We provide you with a tracking code, unique to your specific fundraiser, which customers will enter at the time of their order so that the sale is credited to your fundraiser. After the fundraising period is over, we simply send you a check in the amount of your profits. Pretty simple huh? If you prefer the old fashion way you can still use order forms, checks, and cash or a combination of this and online sales. While we can help you determine which method would work best for your fundraiser, the choice is yours.
No Required Deposit. Don't you hate it when you have a fundraiser and you have to use your money to buy many boxes of candy that you have to in turn resell? And, what happens if you don't sell them or they melt in the car? You're stuck with the bill. Same goes for lollypops, bracelets and many other fundraiser items. Flop Happy requires no upfront purchase or deposit. This is because you do not take possession of the products and don't have to go around peddling cases of them.
How Much Money Can You Raise? The profits can be very great. However this depends on how many pairs you sell. As an incentive to our fundraising groups, the more pairs you sell, the greater your profit margin per pair. The profits you can earn from a Flop Happy fundraiser range from 15% to as much as 34% per pair, depending on the quantity sold. Additionally, we let you choose one of two retail prices you would like to sell your flip flops for. While there are fundraisers that offer profit margins of 40% or more, they are for products that may sell very cheaply and require very high volumes, or they may not be sold as easily. To learn more about Flop Happy's fundraising Profit Margin Tiers and how great your profits can be, send us an inquiry through our Contact Us page.
Is it hard to get up to the 30%+ profit range?
Not really, when you think about it. Almost everyone already wears flip flops and you've got great affordable custom flip flops to sell. If there are 100 people in your school, church, or organization, then each member simply needs to buy or sell an average of five pairs. Now how many people do you know that already wear flip flops, and would love to own a pair that had a team/group name, a cool design, or a nickname customized onto them? Take a minute to truly think about this and you'll see that this number can be overwhelming. The point is you've got a great new unique product that people want, a very large market to sell to, and when you simply provide a good cause for your fundraiser, such as a new playground, a charitable cause, or an important class trip, it is not very hard to start selling A LOT of flip flops and raising A LOT of money.

Fundraising Tips!
1. Create a plan to promote your school fundraiser. How are you going to make people aware of your cause and what you are selling? Word of mouth is good but you can always send emails and newsletters. Promotion is essential to the success of any fundraiser or business.
2. Set Goals, realistic ones. Many fundraisers set their goals too high. Get an idea of how much you want to raise, and how many pairs at what profit margin you need to raise to achieve that goal. Furthermore, divide the total number of pairs by your number of sellers and you can get an idea of how many pairs each person would need to sell on average to achieve such a goal.
3. Communicate Your Cause. Let everyone know what you are raising money for. Having a good clearly communicated cause motivates both your buyers as well as your sellers. Need money to build a new ball field, field trip, or donate to a charity? Be sure to say this when marketing. If it's a school PTA/PTO fundraiser, find out what the funds might specifically be used for rather than just general PTA funds.
4. Enlist enough volunteers. Volunteers and workers are needed to distribute promotional material and to sell the product. It's all a game of numbers. The more volunteers you have distributing and marketing for your cause the better your odds are at success. If you want to sell 400 pairs and have 100 people to market them, you will achieve your goal much easier than if you have only a select 10 marketers trying to sell 40 pairs each. Also, if you choose to use paper order forms and payments, instead of the online method, this will require more work in collecting payments and then distributing flip flops.
5. Be Organized. We try to keep things as simple as possible for you but organization is still essential. This is very true if you want to use paper order forms and payments and wish to distribute the flip flops yourself. Make a list of the tasks that need to be done, who they are assigned to, and when they should be done. Also be sure to have a backup workers should the need arise.
6. Use the Media. Are you doing a fundraiser for a unique or exciting cause in your community? Creating a press release and notifying media outlets of your fundraising efforts can create much helpful attention.
